Michael: This is a very interesting question. If the answer is no, why? I think part of it could be the U.S. seems to be assigned to take lead in this madness --the answer, in my opinion, is not just in what we see, but what we don't see. As for the 960 military bases, I believe the U.S. was assigned to be the war arm for the City of London bankers. Is it coincidence that the snake pit was named Washington D.C.? The U.S. was assigned to this madness by the National Security State. Daniel Yergen describes it in Shattered Peace. Post WWII…. we controlled the world that had been devastated. The MIC needed orders to keep their WWII plants open and returning soldiers needed jobs. At Breton Woods we set up the financial game based on the dollar. The whole world craved dollars to trade. Allen Dulles and John Foster Dulles were the hammers. We produced 50% of the goods and services on the globe. Now it is 20%. China is 18%.
To protect our hegemony we defended it with militarism which kept the plants running. The politicians received donations from those who benefited from the hegemony.
We don’t like China or Russia because they threaten our hegemony. The dollar dominance will be supplanted by a gold based and commodity based system. This will probably be outlined in Kazan, Russia in a few weeks.
Our arrogant leaders don’t know how to get along with others. There are no diplomats at State. Only troublemakers.
