The Truth About the “15 Minute Cities”…Mini Prisons of Convenience
...reducing carbon emissions or reducing your liberties?
This week while reading Daniel Jupp’s Gates of Hell: Why Bill Gates is the Most Dangerous Man in the World, I found some interesting information on Gates’ backing of the green agenda, and how it ties into his wealth building strategy and the “15 Minute Cities” the U.N. sustainable development crowd is trying to sell to municipalities across the nation.
Jupp quotes many sources throughout his book that are written by Bill Gates himself—and Gates really does not hide his sinister activities. I believe this is because he doesn’t think there is anything maniacal about his plans. So what is Gates’ plan? According to Jupp’s book, he is investing money into “smart city” surveillance infrastructure technology.
This excerpt from Jupp’s book explains:
“‘In late 2017, Microsoft co-founder and tech billionaire Bill Gates opened the debate about the need to invest in smart cities. The billionaire philanthropist made headlines worldwide when he purchased a 24,800-acres desertic area near Phoenix, Arizona in the US for USD $80 million. He is planning to build one of the world’s first smart cities from the ground up…It will rely completely on smart technologies such as high-speed digital networks, data centers, high speed public Wi-Fi, hi-tech manufacturing facilities and autonomous vehicles…Investing in planned cities has been particularly in vogue among progressive investors and futuristic designers.’”
Jupp goes on to comment:
“…Bill is leading the way on this baked in form of authority and this use of technology to a supposed “green” end which, coincidentally centralizes power and profit at the same time. After all, who is better placed to create these planned technology smart cities that monitor and guide us than the world’s most famous software developer?”

“15 Minute Cities” the Smart City Model
The “15 Minute Cities” term was coined by Mexican Urbanist and City Planner, Carlos Moreno.
His concept is sold as improving the urban experience, being more convenient for the average citizen with everything within reach. Residents of a “15 Minute City” would find everything they need within a 15-minute walk or ride without having to leave the pre-determined boundaries of the zone.
Sounds like a prison to me.
The “15 Minute Cities” will be outfitted with Gates-like surveillance, tracking, and monitoring technology to make sure everyone stays within the designated zones—thus making them a “smart city.”
The city of Cedar Rapids signed onto a bold plan in 2021 to move forward as a “15 Minute City”; they say they “want all their core neighborhoods to meet the residents needs within 15 minutes…either bike or catch a ride or walk”—and they say this will reduce carbon emissions 45% by 2030—with a final goal of “net zero”, meaning no carbon emissions by 2050.
United Nations Propaganda Arm Pushing “15 Minute Cities”
Research led me to a Gazette article that stated the Cedar Rapids’ plan came from a United Nations report released by their Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, “The plan’s formation comes as a landmark report from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change revealed scientists’ findings that climate events rapidly are becoming more widespread and intense. The resounding message was that these changes resulted from human-caused emissions of carbon and other greenhouse gases. “
This IPCC report urges municipalities to jump on the “15 Minute City” bandwagon before all hell breaks loose. The Gazette states that even with this bold plan, there is still a long-term threat, “…strong and sustained reductions in emissions, unprecedented changes — such as rising sea levels — would be irreversible for hundreds to thousands of years and increasing temperatures would take decades to stabilize.”
In my book, Soul-less Society: The Ultimate Deception That Took the Land of Plenty to A Nation of Death, I wrote about the IPCC and how they commission writers to write climate change propaganda. They never tell you that the real plan is about taking you from first-world to third-world living conditions.
The plans for these municipalities are being built on a weak foundation—it is so outrageous and would be funny if it weren’t so sad—as this U.N. entity has no credibility. They don’t research, fact-check, or monitor anything regarding climate change or the proposed solutions—all they do is hire progressive writers and editors to regurgitate the climate change narrative and create reports that the local governments take to heart and use to re-engineer their entire infrastructure.
Shelia Zilinsky, author of Green Gospel, recounted the story of a German meteorologist and physicist, Klaus-Eckert Puls, who had subscribed to the IPCC propaganda and later was horrified when he realized it was all based on absolutely no scientific proof.
“’ Ten years ago, I simply parroted what the IPCC told us. But one day I started checking the facts and data. At first I started with a sense of doubt, but then I became outraged when I discovered that the IPCC and the media were telling us sheer nonsense and was not even supported by any scientific facts and measurements. To this day, I feel ashamed that as a scientist, I made presentations of their science without first checking it...Scientifically it is a sheer absurdity to think we can get a nice climate by turning a CO2 adjustment knob.’”
Think about all of the scientists that don’t look further into the climate change accusations for themselves and take what the IPCC is spewing as gospel.
15 Minute Cities Are Really About Imprisoning You
These proposed utopian neighborhoods are not just for convenience—these Green Goblins just have to sell convenience to get the public to accept their insidious plan.
Jupp explains the end game of the “15 Minute Cities” in his book, “As I write this, the authoritarianism that Gates has no issue with so long as it’s supporting policies that he agrees with, is becoming more and more evidently part of the “green” agenda he likewise supports. The WEF (World Economic Forum) supported innovation of “15-minute cities,” for instance, returns the average citizen to the state of a medieval serf whose travel on or off a tiny zone of land is dependent on the approval of his contemporary lords. Carlos Moreno’s “15-minute city” concept is sold as improving the urban experience, being more convenient for the average citizen with everything they need within reach. But ultimately it requires greater surveillance and control. CCTV and tracking technology will inform councils or similar authorities of every movement. Travel outside your designated “zone” will be restricted by taxes or fines if you undertake “too many” climate damaging journeys. Potentially, though these fines can be set at a price or a level that makes poorer individuals effective prisoners of their zones, unable to afford these fees.”
Every policy in these local governments is going to be created to serve the green agenda, saving the planet, reducing emissions, but at the same time reducing your liberties. They are going to normalize this model city and over time, people are going to get used to not having the luxury of just jumping in the car and driving 30 miles to visit a family member or friend. That's not going to be permitted. Having a police state is just going to be normal for the average smart city prisoner.
As Gates leads the way in the tech sector, buys up large amounts of farmland, has his hands in biotech companies and makes bookoo bucks—he could care less about the green agenda or you.
These mini convenience zones will be nothing more than little prisons where personal freedoms are a thing of the past.
